Exhibition by 100 artists was organised by Chhattisgarh Progressive Artist Group.
Chhattisgarh Progressive Artist Group (CGPAG) organised a visual art exhibition titled Gaura. Curated by Dr Dhruv Tiwari, the group exhibition was inaugurated on April 10, 2026. The two-day show was held at the Art Gallery in Raipur. The exhibition celebrated the diversity, creativity and expression of contemporary Indian art. It offered a unique opportunity for art lovers, students and the general public to view and understand artworks by artists from different parts of the country.
The exhibition showcased artworks by 100 renowned artists from across India on a single platform. Guest Artists Rajeev Semwal, Rajesh Rawat, Ved Bhardwaj, Shailendra Sahu & Ravi Kant Jha.
Participating Artists Dhruv Tiwari, Jiten Sahu, Anil Khubragade, Shanti Tirkey, Gajendra Soni, Sarita Sahu and Sumitra Maharana also participated in this event. The Chhattisgarh Progressive Artist Group is an active art platform dedicated to bringing artists and collectors together and promoting contemporary art. CGPAG’s first exhibition, Sohai, was held in 2025 at Mahant
Ghasidas Museum in Raipur, featuring participation from 45 artists. The exhibition included a panel discussion and honored several artists. Following this, CGPAG’s second exhibition, Hantha, was organised at the Art Gallery of Bhilai Steel Plant, establishing an identity of sorts in the art world.
