Panjab Kala Bhawan Showcases 23 Artist’s Works

Parindon Ki Udaan Society organised a three-day art exhibition in Chandigarh.

With no dearth of artists and art lovers in the Punjab region, Parindon Ki Udaan Society organised an art exhibition with the same name to showcase the works of 23 talented artists from the region. This much-anticipated event took place at the prestigious Punjab Kala Bhawan, in Sector 16, Chandigarh, from September 6 to September 8, 2024.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Dr Balbinder Singh, the director of the Institute of Fine Arts. Under the leadership of founding director Meenakshi Jain, this exhibition aimed to offer an exceptional platform to artists to present their creative expressions to art enthusiasts, collectors and the general public.

Featuring more than 150 art works, Parindon Ki Udaan show highlighted a diverse range of artistic styles, themes and mediums. The exhibition showcased the incredible talents of artists including Yuvika Grewal, Dr Babita Hundal, Komal, Rehnuma Rani, Amardeep Singh, Balpreet Kaur, Ena Saini, Roopam Gupta, Rakesh Verma, Meenu Verma, Amandeep Kaur, Deepali Birla, Swati Birla, Inderjeet Kaur, Devinder Ajnabee, Puneet Madan, Kuljeet Heer, Dr. Sarita Mehta, Sarojini Dutta, Vibhati Jain, Manwinder Pal Kaur, Ruby, and Vinod Kapoor.

The exhibition not only served as a visual treat for art lovers but also underscored the importance of fostering a vibrant cultural landscape within the community. By bringing together various artists, Parindon Ki Udaan Society aimed to create a dialogue between creators and viewers, allowing for an exchange of ideas, perspectives and interpretations of contemporary art.

To sum it, the show was all about celebrating the rich artistic heritage of Punjab and the dedication of the emerging and established artists. This event promised to inspire, engage and captivate all who attended.
