New art Fair in city oF pearls As the art fairs across the world are coming back on track after the pandemic, two art fairs were launched in Asia, ART SG in Singapore and Tokyo Gendai in Japan. Close on the heels of the international trend, Mazda Art, founded by husband-wife duo Dilnawaz Tarapore and Vispi Tarapore, has put up a platform that promotes the work of Indian artists at the global level. Dilnawaz, an artist herself, always aspired to help the artist community grow and with the support of Vispi, they established Mazda Art in 2016. After conducting extensive market research and seeking insights from veterans in the art community, the company was officially launched in 2022.

Some of the prominent names in the Art Industry who will be attending the event and interacting with the Artist community Bijay Biswaal, Fawad Tamkanat, Prafull B. Sawant, Amit Kapoor, Rajendra Patil, Rajsekhar Pendurthi, Sadashiv Sawant, Shounak Tewarie from Netherlands.

The flagship product through which Mazda Art operates at the national level is the Hyderabad Art Festival. It offers art grants to support artists’ creative projects, research and artistic development. This reflects Mazda Art’s commitment to support the artist community and provides the artists with the opportunity to cover their expenses, gain exposure and recognition and further their careers.

Founded by husband-wife duo Dilnawaz and Vispi Tarapore, the platform will promote the work of indian artists at the global level.

Dilnawaz Tarapore, the artist, founder and CEO of Mazda Art, was born and brought up in Hyderabad and studied at the London Collage art, UK. She was captivated by nature, particularly the stone boulders that dot the landscape. She
began her artistic journey as a 2D animator before exploring various mediums such as oils, acrylics, ink, and her favourite – watercolours.

Vispi Tarapore, the co-founder and COO of Mazda Art, is a visionary who generates original and creative ideas. With over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, Vispi aims to incorporate game mechanics, design elements
and principles into the art space to create an interactive experience.

Utkarsh Veer, the chief strategist and angel investor, is an innovator, advisor and mentor with expertise in the art and animation space. With his strategic mindset and artistic instinct, Utkarsh has played a pivotal role in Mazda Art’s success. He is also the founder and managing director of Rocksalt Interactive Games Pvt Ltd, one of India’s top studios for game art.

The Hyderabad Art Festival, organized by Mazda Art, is aiming to be an important event in the art sector. The event will be by invitation only and will be held at the State Gallery of Art in Hyderabad from September 8 to September 10, 2023. It will feature art exhibitions, art workshops, live demos, panel discussions, along with an awards ceremony.
