A Vibrant One-Day Painting Workshop by Rupvarnam Fine Art Society Concludes Successfully

Guwahati, 13 November 2025: Rupvarnam Fine Art Society marked a memorable milestone with the successful conclusion of its lively one-day painting workshop, “Colours of November,” held at the culturally rich Srimant Sankardev Kalakshetra. The event brought together a diverse collective of 26 artists, including six promising students from the society, transforming the venue into a flourishing hub of artistic energy, shared learning, and creative freedom.

The workshop welcomed a vibrant mix of established and emerging artists whose participation added depth and diversity to the day’s activities. Among the distinguished names were Dadul Chaliha, Prabin Kumar Nath, Paranbanti Devi, Sanajaoba Tensuba (Manipur), Minakshi Borgohain, Anup Kumar Sarmah, Diksha Kain (New Delhi), Ratna Sharma (Delhi), Baibhav Sarmah (Haryana), Kauslesh Kumar (Aarah, Bihar), Dimpi Das, Kukima Kakati, Dikshita Mahanta, Pallabi Nath, Kasturi Kalita, Shobha Chetri, Bhaskar Jyoti Kalita, Kalpa Jyoti Das, Shruti Singha, Prakreeti Sarmah, Sagarika Sarania, Nishtha Priyam Sarmah, and Udipta Pathak, among others. Their collective presence not only enriched the artistic fabric of the event but also created an inspiring space for constructive interaction and creative synergy.

Over the course of the day, the artists produced an impressive body of work that reflected a wide spectrum of thoughts, emotions, and artistic philosophies. From bold strokes to intricate detailing, from abstract concepts to representational forms, the artworks created during the workshop highlighted the distinctive styles and personal journeys of each participant.
