19th Painting Exhibition 2026

The 19th Painting Exhibition 2026 is a vibrant celebration of creativity, bringing together some of Kerala’s most respected and emerging painters under one roof. Organized by the Art & Artist Association, Kerala, this year’s exhibition continues the association’s inspiring journey of nurturing artistic dialogue and supporting visual arts across the state.

The exhibition is being held at the beautiful David Hall Art Gallery, Fort Kochi, from 8 May to 13 May 2026. With its rich cultural atmosphere and historic charm, David Hall provides the perfect setting for an event that celebrates imagination, expression, and artistic excellence.

The exhibition was inaugurated on 8 May 2026 at 11:00 AM by renowned visual artist Manoj Narayanan. The Presidential Address was delivered by distinguished artist Renjeethlal, whose thoughtful reflections highlighted the importance of art as a means of connection and cultural dialogue.

This 19th edition features an outstanding group of artists from different parts of Kerala and abroad, each presenting works that reflect their individual experiences, ideas, and creative journeys. From figurative and abstract compositions to deeply personal and socially engaged themes, the exhibition offers visitors a rich and varied visual experience.

Curated by Issac Nellad, the exhibition is more than a display of paintings. It is a meeting point for artists, students, collectors, and art lovers to engage in meaningful conversations and discover new perspectives through art.
